The 2010 Winter Olympics are over now, but who cares! Canada is still a great place to travel and offers vibrant cities, incredible nature and wildlife, and a culture all of their own. Hostels or luxury hotels, Canada is a little more travel-oriented than the US and can keep any budget traveler happy with cheap holidays.

Quebec City

Montreal
Montreal is the second largest French speaking city in the world (take a guess what the first one is) and offers European old world charm in a modern metropolis that buzzes with business and activity. No visit here is complete without seeing the beautiful Notre Dame Basilica and catching a game of hockey which is practically a religion.
Toronto
Along the sprawling Lake Ontario’s shorelines you will find Toronto. Full of eclectic culture and exciting nightlife, Toronto is a huge destinations for North Americans. Be sure to go up CN Tower for a breathtaking view of the city and check out the underground “PATH” walkway which offers 4 million square feet of shopping, eating, and fun.
Niagara Falls
With 600,000 gallons of water pouring over the edge per second, these falls are amazing to see. The surrounding area has turned into a tourism hotspot and offers great hotels, restaurants, and attractions that make for excellent cheap holidays.
Yukon Territory
All along the Yukon River you will find some of the most pristine wilderness in North America. Ice climbing, dog sledding, fly fishing, this huge territory is an outdoors paradise with enough scenery and remote corners to keep you occupied for a long time!
Vancouver
This west-coast city in British Columbia, Canada holidays to Vancouver offer everything you would expect, from sophisticated dining and art galleries to beaches and a great, relaxing vibe; all include a snowy mountain backdrop.
