Flights to Singapore

Guest Post

Singapore is one of the fastest growing cities in Asia. Already a cultural and financial center in Southeast Asia, Singapore continues to attract tourists each and every year due to its food, shopping opportunities, and tourist attractions.

Generally, flights to Singapore are plentiful and they can be found at most of the major airports around the world at affordable prices.  The first thing that most people notice is the Changi International Airport since it is probably where they will arrive and it is known to be one of the best airports in the world.  Here are the top 5 things to do in Singapore.

Clark Quay

Clark Quay is a place on the Singapore River that has tons of restaurants, bars, and nightclubs.  It is probably one of the best places to visit in Singapore if you are looking to experience the night life of the country or if you just want to try some of the best food.  There are also lots of boats in the area and it gives you a great view of the water and scenery.

Singapore Zoo

The Singapore Zoo is another very popular tourist attraction.  It not only has a very diverse offering of animals from white tigers, zebras, orangutans, rhinos, and seals. This zoo is slightly differing from many of the others because it has a very natural feel since it is in a tropical environment and minimal barriers between the visitors and the animals.

Singapore Flyer

The Singapore Flyer is an enormous observation wheel that marks the Singapore skyline. It is very similar to a large Ferris wheel and it provides breathtaking views of the entire area. Lots of tourists love to get on the wheel to take some great pictures and take everything in.  The only thing is that the Singapore Flyer does cost quite a bit of money to ride.

The Double Helix Bridge

The Double Helix Bridge is a pedestrian bridge is across the Marina Bay and it resembles the shape of a DNA strain.  The bridge itself is already a sight to see and it is gorgeous at night with all of the lights on.  It is so much more fun to cross the bridge walking instead of driving on the other bridge, the Benjamin Sheares Bridge.

Singapore Botanic Gardens

The Singapore Botanic Gardens are free and open everyday until midnight and it is almost like walking through a rain forest.  It is a very peaceful place to have lunch or a casual stroll in the evening and you will likely see people jogging and practicing tai chi.
